About Workers Benefit Fund

The rise of the gig economy has created a new reality. Millions of workers gig workers, freelancers, and independent contractors operate outside traditional employment systems, without reliable access to the benefits and protections that full-time employees take for granted. Workers Benefit Fund was founded to change that. We build the systems, partnerships, and outreach infrastructure that organizations need to reach nontraditional workers and connect them to meaningful health, wellness, and financial benefits. Access alone isnt enough. We guide workers through their entire benefits journey across languages, cultures, and decentralized workplaces so they dont just enroll, they understand, use, and stay connected to the benefits available to them. We work with unions, state institutions, and worker-serving organizations who believe that every worker, regardless of how they work, deserves real support.
