Jersey Cares has been connecting volunteers to their purpose and passion in the communities where they live and work for more than 30 years. Together with collaborative community partners we're helping build a more connected, compassionate and resilient New Jersey, one volunteer connection at a time. Every day, Jersey Cares is working with nonprofits and volunteers to address community-identified needs. More than 150 opportunities to volunteer are available monthly through the Volunteer Opportunity Calendar. Our Coat, School Supply, Halloween Costume, Animal Shelter and First Night Kit Drives provide tens of thousands of items to people (and animals) in need. Our Youth Service Program helps kids learn the value and reward of service, and our MLK Day of Service brings together 2,000 people to strengthen local communities. Whatever a person, company, organization, family or group may feel passionate about, Jersey Cares can help them make a difference.
