About Bacone College

Founded in 1880, Bacone College is Oklahoma’s oldest operating institution of higher learning. As a historic American Indian serving institution, it provides a quality, holistic liberal arts educational experience in a culturally diverse environment, empowering life-long learners with the knowledge, skills, and capacity to be transformational leaders in both native and non-native communities. The college offers 21 degrees across various programs, including business administration, education, and American Indian studies. With a student-professor ratio of 11:1 and a 65% Native American student population representing more than 40 tribes, Bacone College offers a unique and inclusive educational experience.
